Terms of Sale

1. Purchase Agreement
When you place an order, a purchase agreement is established only when Keramikkatrine confirms your order through an order confirmation.
An order confirmation will be sent within 24 hours after your order has been received.

If the delivery time changes after your order has been placed, you will be notified as soon as possible.
You always have the right to cancel your order at no cost until the item has been shipped.

Ownership of all products remains with Keramikkatrine until full payment has been received.

2. Prices
All prices include 25% VAT.

Once your order has been confirmed, prices can only be changed in circumstances beyond my control—such as significant changes in raw material costs, currency fluctuations, or VAT adjustments.

No additional handling fees are added.

3. Shipping
Shipping costs are calculated based on destination, size, and weight.

4. Delivery
Orders placed before 16:00 (CET) on a weekday are usually processed the same day and normally delivered within 1–2 business days within Sweden, or 1–3 business days internationally if the item is in stock.

If a product is sold out before the website is updated, I will inform you of the estimated delivery time. You always have the right to cancel the purchase at no cost if the item is not in stock.

Deliveries are handled by PostNord or another trusted courier.

5. Delivery Delays
Occasionally, delays may occur due to issues with shipping companies beyond my control.
If this happens, Keramikkatrine is not liable for any compensation related to the delay.

6. Transport Responsibility
Keramikkatrine is responsible for the shipment until it reaches you.
If you return an item, you are responsible for the transport and any risk of loss or damage during the return shipping.

7. Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival.
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, contact me as soon as possible at keramikkatrine@gmail.com.

8. Right of Withdrawal
Private customers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law (Distance and Doorstep Sales Act).
This means you may cancel your purchase within 14 days after receiving your order.

Returned items must be unused and in original packaging.
Return shipping costs are paid by the customer.

All returns must be sent to my studio address:

Returns sent as Cash on Delivery or to other pickup points will not be accepted.

9. Complaints and Warranty
All products come with a 24-month warranty under EU consumer law.
You may be entitled to a replacement, refund, or price reduction depending on the specific situation.

The complaint must be justified and not caused by misuse or improper handling.
Report defects within two months of discovering them.
If your claim is approved, I will refund reasonable shipping costs.

Because each piece is handmade, small variations in shape, color, or surface texture are normal and not considered defects.

If you wish to file a complaint, please contact me before returning the product.
Include the invoice or receipt for identification.
In the event of a dispute, Keramikkatrine follows the recommendations of the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) in Sweden.

10. Refunds
Refunds are processed via the same payment method used for the original purchase.
The amount will be returned to your account as soon as the returned item is received and approved.

11. Reservation
I reserve the right to adjust prices or correct errors caused by supplier changes, technical issues, or typographical mistakes beyond my control.

12. Protection of Personal Data
When you register or place an order, you consent to Keramikkatrine storing and using your personal information solely to process your order and provide customer service.

In accordance with the Swedish Data Protection Act (PUL) and the GDPR, you have the right to request access to the information stored about you and to request correction or deletion of incorrect or irrelevant data.

Your data will never be sold or transferred to third parties.

13. Unclaimed Packages
If your package arrives at a service point and is not collected, you will be charged an administrative fee to cover shipping and handling costs.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the contact information (address, email, and phone number) provided at checkout is correct.

14. Force Majeure
In the event of war, natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond my reasonable control, Keramikkatrine is released from its obligations to fulfill affected agreements.
